We are a dedicated team of homeschooling moms in the Overberg who are passionate about building community, breaking stereotypes,
and creating opportunities for our children.
Together, we organize events and initiatives to raise funds for much-needed athletic equipment for the
Overberg Homeschool Athletics Team.
Over the years, we’ve hosted athletics competitions,
a Homeschool Market, traditional Boeresport,
fun Pop-Up athletics, and a creative team-building Kaskenades.
Each event has the same purpose at heart:
to empower our learners, connect families, and showcase the value of homeschooling in the wider community.
Our vision is bigger than sport.
We want to, debunk the stigma surrounding homeschooling by showing what thriving, motivated learners can achieve.
Build a positive and supportive homeschool community
in the Overberg.
Encourage entrepreneurship among our learners, giving them the chance to create, innovate, and share their talents at community markets and events.
We also run free athletics training three days per week, offering every homeschool learner in the region the chance to develop fitness, discipline, and teamwork skills in a supportive environment.
By opening our events to the general public, we invite the wider Overberg community to stand with us, support home education, and celebrate the potential of every child —
on the track and field, in their education, and in life.
