MARKET GUIDELINES

We are excited to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity and business skills.

To ensure the integrity and uniqueness of the market, we kindly ask all stallholders to adhere to the following guidelines:

Originality and Value-Add:

We encourage all participants to showcase products that reflect their creativity and personal touch. If you are selling items that are not entirely handmade, you must add significant value to them. This could include customization, repurposing, or enhancing the original product in a way that demonstrates your craftsmanship or creativity.

Prohibition on Direct Resale:

To maintain the spirit of originality and entrepreneurship, we do not allow the direct resale of products purchased from mass-market platforms like Temu, Shein, or similar. If you are sourcing materials or products from these sites, you must modify or add value to them before selling.

Handmade Items Encouraged:

We strongly encourage the sale of handmade items that are crafted from scratch, as this fosters creativity and originality within our homeschool community.

Market Layout and Electricity Guidelines

To ensure an organized and enjoyable market experience, the layout of the stalls will be pre-determined based on the type of products or services you are offering.

The market will be divided into specific sections, such as:

Food Court:

For stalls selling food and beverages.

Second-Hand Materials:

For stalls offering pre-loved items.

Activity Stalls:
For those hosting interactive experiences or workshops.

Product Stalls:
For entrepreneurs selling handmade or value-added goods.

Please note that you will not be able to choose your own stall location.

The organizers will assign spaces based on the category of items you are selling to ensure
a smooth flow and clear organization.

Additionally, only a limited number of stalls have access to electricity.
If your stall requires electricity, please inform us on the form below.

Electricity will be allocated on a needs basis, with priority given to stalls that genuinely require it for their operations.

Market Prizes

To encourage creativity, presentation, and excellent customer service, we are excited to offer the following
awards at the Homeschool Market:

Most Unique Product

This prize will go to the entrepreneur whose product stands out for its creativity, originality, and distinctiveness. We are looking for items that are innovative, thoughtful, and demonstrate a unique approach to solving a problem or meeting a need.

Criteria:

Originality and innovation
Use of materials and craftsmanship
Impact and relevance to the market

Best Decorated Stall

This prize will recognize the stall with the most visually appealing and creative setup. The overall look should draw attention and reflect the entrepreneur’s brand, product, or theme.

Criteria:

This award will go to the entrepreneur who demonstrates outstanding customer service. This includes friendliness, professionalism, and making customers feel valued and appreciated.

We look forward to seeing the unique contributions each stallholder brings to the market!
